WELCOME: The Greencastle Police Department operates to serve the people in the Borough of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. The borough has a population of approximately 3,700 citizens and consists of a geographic area of 1 square mile.
The department currently employs 11 people, with 10 sworn officers (2 full-time and 8 part-time) and one police secretary. The police department is under the direction of Police Chief Mozurkevich, who reports to Mayor Robert Eberly. The Department has two marked patrol cars.
MISSION STATEMENT: The Mission of the Greencastle Police Department is to enhance the quality of life within the Borough of Greencastle. Quality of Life is enhanced through the protection of life and property, the enforcement of laws in a fair and impartial manner, the preservation of peace, order and safety of the community served, the safeguarding of constitutional rights and the providing of other related services as required by the community – in a manner consistent with the values of society.
PROGRAMS & SERVICES:
Child Safety Seat Inspection – A police officer can provide child safety seat inspection for parents. At this time, we have one certified inspector.
Drug Investigations – The Franklin County Drug Task Force offers their assistance to the Greencastle Police Department in drug investigations and making arrests.
Fingerprinting of Civilians – The Greencastle Police Department will fingerprint civilians (for employment, adoption, etc.). This service is a courtesy extended to those who live or work in the Borough of Greencastle of Antrim Township. There is no cost for this service. Please call in advance to set-up an appointment 717-597-9506
Station Tours – Tours are available for groups by appointment only. Tour includes the police vehicles, station and discussion about crime prevention and safety (age appropriate). Please call to schedule a tour 717-597-9506.

How do I pay a parking ticket?
Parking tickets can be paid at Borough Hall, 60 N. Washington Street, Monday-Friday (8 am-5 pm) or placed in the night deposit mail slot.
If paid within 48 hours, the fine is $3.00.
All fines paid after 48 hours, but within 15 days, are $10.00.
After 15 days, a traffic citation will be filed with the District Justice with fines costing over $60.00.
How do I obtain a copy of a police report?
A copy of a police report can be requested through the Police Department at 60 N. Washington Street, between the hours of 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Certain Restrictions Apply.
The fee is $15.00 for the report.
What is the curfew in the Borough of Greencastle?
For minors under the age of 18: The curfew is between the hours of 10:30 pm and 5:00 am, Sunday – Thursday and between the hours of 11:00 pm and 5:00 am, Friday – Saturday.
Violations of the curfew ordinance are punishable by fines of not less than $50 nor more than $300.
