Eleven miles of streets in Greencastle are owned and maintained by the Borough.
All of Baltimore Street, Antrim Way, North Carl Avenue, South Carlisle Street, South Washington Street, North Allison Street and Leitersburg Street are part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) system. For problems regarding state highways call 264-4171.
Any removal, planting, trimming or moving of trees or shrubs within any street right-of-way requires a permit from the Commission at no charge. The proposed work cannot begin until a permit has been granted.
